In March of 2011, the division went to Castanea, in suburban Lock Haven, to operate on and view the CCMR club's layout. They are located in a former New York Central station, just across the creek from downtown Lock Haven.

In addition to visiting their very impressive facility, we held a brief business meeting, and Superintendent Paul Kurutz presented a clinic on constructing trees. Galon Tonell took a number of photos during the visit. The photos follow.
